Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT. Compensation shall be payable in an initial $75 deposit upon signing of contract and remaining balance on the Monday preceding the date of the performance. Payment can be made Via PayPal, Square, or Royal Princess Party MN’s website.
CANCELLATION POLICY. All deposit fees are non-refundable. A minimum of 1 week notice will berequired for cancellation of this Contract. Any cancellation made with less than 1 week notice prior to the agreed upon service date will result in full payment by Client. If the cancellation is initiated by Royal Princess Party MN, all monies paid to Royal Princess Party MN from Client shall be fully refunded. Refund shall be paid out at month’s end. Extenuating circumstances may be considered for partial refunds and are at the discretion of Royal Princess Party MN.
PARKING. Royal Princess Party MN requires at least one reserved parking space within short walking distance to the event (preferably not immediately in front of the party or event in order to keep character integrity). If the performer cannot find adequate parking, they will contact the client in order to find their reserved parking spot. Royal Princess Party MN will charge the client for any parking fees incurred.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION. Client is expected to have a constant form of communication at all times. Royal Princess Party MN requires a working phone number. Often Royal Princess Party MN will email, call or text you to make arrangements for the booking and to make confirmations. Royal Princess Party MN will always call or text to let the client know once Royal Princess Party MN is en route to the event, and call again to inform the client that Royal Princess Party MN has arrived.
LIABILITY. Royal Princess Party MN cannot be held responsible for accidents, allergies related to crafts, face painting or temporary tattoos, injuries to party guests, or property damage. Royal Princess Party MN will try our best to be safe and clean, yet entertaining. If you know someone at the event has an allergy, disability, or restriction, please let Royal Princess Party MN know and Royal Princess Party MN will happily accommodate.
PERFORMER SAFETY. Performers of Royal Princess Party MN have the right to refuse any booking if they feel as if the event were unsafe or inappropriate for them. They have the right to refuse to enter any home or venue if they feel it is unsafe. During the event, they may leave without the client being refunded (if they were compensated) if they feel they are being harassed or due to inappropriate behavior or any reason that is stated in our policies and contracts.
EXCLUSIVITY. Royal Princess Party MN will not work with costumed characters not associated with or hired by our company unless the event coordinator or client has talked to and agreed upon any exceptions with Royal Princess Party MN. This includes other companies or businesses, volunteers, family or friends, Etc.
TIMING. Royal Princess Party MN’s performers will only be at an event for as long as they were booked for, or for an agreed-upon time. Royal Princess Party MN may be able to negotiate, but it is very rare that we will be able to do so. If a performer arrives on time but is asked to wait by the client or event coordinator, their end time will remain the same. Royal Princess Party MN is not responsible for lost time if Royal Princess Party MN’s performers arrive on time and then are asked to wait. It is very rare that Royal Princess Party MN’s performers will be late, but if they are, they will stay longer to make up for the lost time.
DAMAGE. Royal Princess Party MN understands that accidents may happen, or that costumes are worn down after each party, and the client will not be charged for these minor occurrences. However, the client or event coordinator may be held responsible for excessive damage done to costumes, supplies, or any property of Royal Princess Party MN used at the client’s event.
BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN AND GUESTS. The client or event coordinator is responsible for the behavior of all their guests. If a child is acting unruly or disruptive (children that are also ruining the magic), Royal Princess Party MN’s performer may ask a nearby adult to calm or remove them from activities or the event for a while. If a child does anything that could be harmful (jumping, shoving, pulling, etc), and it cannot be controlled at that moment, the performer has the right to remove themself from the event for some time until the child has calmed down or has been removed, for safety reasons.
BEHAVIOR OF ADULTS. Please do not harass the performers or attempt to have them break character. If such behavior the offender will be given a polite warning or be asked to be removed from the area. A performer reserves the right to leave a party or event due to inappropriate behavior from adults, or if they are in an unsafe environment if they feel the need to.
ADULTS AT EVENTS. Royal Princess Party MN asks that adults DO stay for the duration of the event to attend to the needs of the children and to take care of any problems that could possibly arise. The parents of guests and adults are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun, but we please ask that they keep noise to a minimum so that the children do not get distracted and can pay attention to the performer.
FORCE MAJEURE. If performance of this Contract or any obligation under this Contract is prevented, restricted, or interfered with by causes beyond either party’s reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), and if the party unable to carry out its obligations gives the other party prompt written notice of such event, then the obligations of the party invoking this provision shall be suspended to the extent necessary by such event. The term Force Majeure shall include, without limitation, acts of God, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine or other employee restrictions, fire,
explosion, vandalism, storm or other similar occurrence, orders or acts of military or civil authority, or by national emergencies, insurrections, riots, or wars, or strikes, lock-outs, work stoppages, other labor disputes, or supplier failures. The excused party shall use reasonable efforts under the circumstances to avoid or remove such causes of non-performance and shall proceed to perform with reasonable dispatch whenever such causes are removed or ceased. An act or omission shall be deemed within the reasonable control of a party if committed, omitted, or caused by such party, or its employees, officers, agents, or affiliates.
